Radio puzzle: a sufficiently clear carrier reveals a five-pulse trace. Long pulse = 1, short pulse = 0. Enter the five bits correctly to decipher and log that signal.
The same frequency can contain more than one transmission. After logging one, scan it again before moving on.
Turning off the heater saves fuel but increases cold strain. Emergency rations can reduce strain once. Dead systems cannot be powered after the generator fuel reaches zero.
