You bounce automatically. Steer left or right in the air, land on the next basalt shelf, and keep climbing before the magma catches you. Used platforms crumble behind you.
Keyboard: A/D or ←/→. Touch: hold a steering button or hold the left/right half of the game. Jumping is automatic.
